Kia has unveiled the all-electric Kia EV6, which is built on the same new Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) as the Ioniq 5. The company’s redesigned logo is visible on the hood and steering wheel.
The automaker notes that the design is intended to provide “maximum aerodynamic performance.” How it performs in a wind tunnel remains to be seen.
It is expected that the new product will be similar in its capabilities to the Ioniq 5, that is, it will be able to develop power up to 300 hp, and the cruising range will be up to 500 km. The price will start at around $ 45,000.
Kia Opposites United’s new design philosophy will be used in all future vehicles from the automaker. It is unknown if all of these new Kia’s will have the same design as the EV6, but the company has said it intends to bring 11 electric vehicles to market by 2026.
